
Tortrix 2017-2020
For over 4 years, I had the opportunity to creatively shape one of Guatemala’s most iconic snack brands: Tortrix.
From 2017 to 2020, I worked on a wide range of campaigns that celebrated Guatemalan identity through humor, flavor, and deeply local storytelling.
Muy Picante
The Muy Picante campaign celebrated Guatemala’s bold love for spice with the tagline: “Chilereá tu aguante pal’ picante.” It introduced a fiery lineup of flavors like Twist Chiltepe, Chile-Ros Tacos, Jalapeño Chapinachos, and Pica Rico Mix, each designed to test the nation’s heat tolerance.
I contributed to the campaign through visual storytelling, product illustration, and spicy copy development that captured Tortrix’s irreverent tone. The campaign thrived on digital platforms with social challenges and user reactions, wrapped in visuals full of flames, flavor, and chapín pride.
